Managers of the "Morsi for President of Egypt 2012" election campaign are organizing, Thursday May 17, the longest human chain in the world, to support Dr. Mohamed Morsi for President of Egypt.

Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Aati, general coordinator of the campaign, said the chain will extend from Aswan to Alexandria and will be connected from Cairo to Alexandria through what is known as the Agricultural Road (Highway).

He added that the ‘chain’ will extend through the cities and capitals of provinces across Egypt until it reaches Aswan, pointing out that organization of the event will start at four in the afternoon and lasts until six in the evening.
