Dr. Mohamed Saad Katatni, Speaker of the Egyptian People’s Assembly (PA), called the PA into session tomorrow, Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 12:30PM.

In a press statement, the PA Speaker affirmed that the PA’s agenda tomorrow includes only one issue, a discussion of how to apply the Supreme Constitutional Court ruling on the unconstitutionality of some articles of the PA elections law regarding party members contesting individual seats.

Dr. Katatni further affirmed that he will ask the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Affairs to provide legal and constitutional perceptions about how to implement the court’s decision.
